On the first day of our 3 day trip, we went to six flags in Chicago and spent the whole day there. This is a picture of me and my 3 best friends! I am the one on the far right in the bat girl cape :)
The next day we went shopping on Michigan Avenue and I bought a pink satin skirt, an oversized pink polka dot shirt and a white long sleeved shirt with a gathered neckline from Forever 21, a pink and blue wallet from ALDO, and last but not least a set of tribal print woven bracelets and a set of ocean print woven bracelets from Free People. My total was about 45$ for everything because I shopped off the clearance racks everywhere! I will finish my entry later, byeeee :)
Hey guys! I just thought I would let you know that I have a girl crush! Her name is Frida Gustavsson and she is a Swedish model. She is my role model because of how beautiful and talented she is. Seriously, this model is probably my favorite not only because of comfortable she is with herself but because she goes after what she wants and I respect that. Frida, if you ever read this then I just want to thank you for being such an inspiration and role model for me. Thank you <3
Hey guys I know it might sound odd but I want to be a model. I have kind of wanted to be a model for almost 4 years and trust me I have tried every stinking website. It's because I live in a smaller town. None of them work. And it really doesn't help that I am short. I am only 5'3.5 And I really do think that maybe someday I could be a print model. Please, it's all I want. I want to be a model so bad. I don't even think you understand how dire my wanting is. I want this so bad. and it would be even better if I could model my own clothing or something because of how much I love to design clothes. Well anyways, if anyone knows someone in the modeling agency world, please submit a contact form and help me out. This has kind of been a lifelong dream and it would really just make me the happiest girl ever if someone out there reading this could hook me up. Please, anyone?
Today I went to my very first flea market at a local warehouse place. I saw so many people and it reminded me of a never ending garage sale with some amazing deals and some rip offs. Lately, I have been in dire need of a dress form and even though I found them at my local fabric store they were way out of my price range!
Well anyways when i went to the flea market i didn't think to even look for a dress form and wowzah! i found them!
Underneath one of the tables. I saw a mannequin's leg popping out, so i just HAD to look further. On the other side of the table i found the top halves of mannequins scattered all across the table some were headless and some were missing ams. I asked the lady running the table and very quickly wished i hadn't; they were $75 for just the top half without the head or the arms!! I thought that was outrageous so I stomped away quickly, never to return....
OK that's a little too dramatic. I did walk away but not in a stomping fashion. More of a sluggish, trudge way because of just how disappointed i was. D:
But in the end I did go home with a huge bag of doilies ($6), a set of two unused, brand new Vera Bradleys (a tote and a messenger bag only $30!)
Ill get back on later to talk about the doilies project!
